SPLASH!

Splash! is about taking the plunge, challenging what's normal and being open to the beauty of seeing things in a new way.

Matt was invited to exhibit his Italy prints as part of PrideFEST 2022 but he wanted to do something new and out of the box. 

He began to think about how he could combine his love of photographing landscapes, architecture and people in a very WA way. 

He came across an Australian photographer Carla Coulson who takes beautiful photographs of women holding big bunches of flowers in the streets of Paris. 

The seed for Splash! was planted. 

Matt wanted to combine boys in bathers in his home of Perth, but not at the beach.

Instead in the middle of the city!

He got in touch Ryke swimwear team and brought the vision to life, photographing at locations around Perth.

You can see the Splash! exhibition at 43 Washing Lane in Northbridge (Off William Street) on November 18-20, 24-27 (10am to 4pm).

One-off framed pieces of each work are for sale along with A3 prints which can be easily placed in store-bought frames.
